DL-panthenol

DL-Panthenol is a white and hygroscopic powder. It’aracemic mixture of the dextrorotatory and levorotatory isomers of Panthenol, the alcohol analog of pantothenic acid. It is freely soluble in water, ethanol, methanol, and propylene glycol, soluble in chloroform and in ether; slightly soluble in glycerin, insoluble in vegetable oils, mineral oils, and fats. It comes with similar functions to D-panthenol. It would be wonderful to discuss the differences between them.
