Time’s flying, even though there’s a gap of year for the Food Ingredients China Exhibition. There’re so many changes during this year. All people around the world are suffering from COVID-19, and it’s still going on. Believe, we’ll beat the epidemic. Comparing with before, there’re fewer exhibitors and visitors, especially foreign customers. There are only five halls, 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2, and 8.2.
Hot-sale ingredients – Erythritol ; Allulose
Changing is one thing that always never changes. From my point of view, there’s a few of hot-sale items, erythritol and allulose. For erythrtol, why is it hot now? Because it has rising demand, so many drinks’ manufacturers in China put it into their beverages. That causes prices rise by almost 2 times of before. Furthermore, many manufacturers are expanding their capacities, also there’re a few new factories that are going to produce it. It’s foreseeable that the price’ll come back to the normal level and become a new balance between demand and supply next year.
About allulose, it’s totally new for Chinese manufacturers. Why is it hot-sale? One big reason is that the two big foreign manufacturers stop producing. They’ve marketed and developed this for a few years. And they have stable demand. Meanwhile, some Chinese manufacturers have breakthrough the technology. It has a long delivery time. It’ll ease as the capacity releases.
Vitamins
There’re no big changes in vitamins. Let’s see the next quarter.
