Maltitol

Maltitol, also known as hydrogenated maltose, is a disaccharide composed of a molecule of glucose connected to sorbitol by an α-1mam 4-bond.

Maltitol is a new type of sweetener and functional sugar alcohol, which is widely used in sugar-flavored food processing.
